What a private practice website costs, and what is inside it

Three engagements, named for the situation you are in. Every figure excludes VAT and comes with its commercial terms stated in full.

Engagements

From £5,000

4–6 weeks

Launching private practice

You are moving into private work and need a presence that a referring GP and a self-paying patient both take seriously.

Clinical authority established, the essential service pages written, one clear enquiry path, and the local search foundations in place.

What is included
  • Positioning and message for your specialism
  • Core service and condition pages, written for patients
  • Enquiry path with privacy-by-design forms
  • Local search foundations and Google Business Profile
  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA
  • 30 days post-launch support

£8,000–£12,000

6–10 weeks

Replacing a site that under-performs

You have a website. It looks acceptable, it does not produce enquiries, and nobody has been able to tell you why.

The patient journey rebuilt around the decision a patient is actually making, with measurement from launch so the change is visible.

What is included
  • Diagnosis of where enquiries are currently lost
  • Patient-journey redesign end to end
  • Deeper condition and treatment content
  • Booking or enquiry integration
  • Search visibility protected through migration
  • Measurement configured, with a baseline agreed before launch
  • 90 days post-launch support

From £15,000

Growing a clinic

Several practitioners, more than one location, and systems that need to talk to each other.

An architecture that holds up as you add practitioners, locations and services, without a rebuild each time.

What is included
  • Scalable service, location and practitioner architecture
  • CRM or practice-management integration
  • Editorial governance and role-based CMS access
  • Consent and data-retention mapping across systems
  • Performance budget held under load
  • Ongoing care plan, scoped to the estate

The review is where we work out which of the three you are — if any.

Terms

The assumptions behind every figure

Published here rather than saved for a proposal, so you can compare our quote against anyone else's.

VAT
All figures exclude VAT, charged at the prevailing UK rate.
Payment
50% deposit to begin, 50% on completion. Payment plans available.
Ownership
You own the site, the content and the domain outright on final payment. The code is yours; there is no licence to keep paying.
Content
We write the site. You review it clinically, and you supply photography or we arrange a shoot at cost.
Third-party costs
Hosting, domain, and any booking or CRM subscriptions are billed to you directly by the provider, not marked up by us.
Ongoing care
From £150 per month for hosting, updates, backups, monitoring and support. Optional, and not required to keep the site running.
Scope changes
Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before it is built. No change is started on an assumption.
If it goes wrong
You can stop after the deposit stage and keep everything produced to that point.

Fit

When we are the wrong choice

Said plainly, because finding out later is expensive for both of us.

  • You need a site live in under three weeks. We would rush it and you would pay for the rush.
  • The budget is under £5,000. A template build is a reasonable choice at that level and we are not the cheapest way to get one.
  • You want us to make claims about outcomes that cannot be substantiated. We will decline, and it is better to know now.
  • You are looking for someone to take instructions only. The work depends on us being able to disagree with you about the patient journey.

Questions

Before you commit

What if I need something that's not in the packages?
Our packages are starting points. We're happy to customise scope and pricing for specific requirements. Booking system integrations, patient or client portals, multi-practitioner features – if your practice or business needs it, we can build it.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We work with 50% deposit to begin and 50% on completion, and payment plans are available — talk to us about what suits your practice or business cash flow.
What's included in the ongoing care partnership?
Every tier includes our care partnership as standard – this isn't optional. It covers security updates and patching, uptime monitoring, performance checks, and access to our support team. Your website remains secure, fast, and maintained.
What technology do you use and why does it matter?
We build on Next.js and React – the same technology used by companies like Netflix, TikTok, and GitHub. For you, this means: faster loading (visitors and clients trust fast sites), better security, and long-term maintainability. We build with security and data protection in mind.
Can I update the website content myself?
Yes, all tiers include content editing capability. Starter and Private Practice Starter include essential content editing for text and images. Growth, Established Consultant Suite, and Enterprise tiers provide full content management for all pages. Multi-Location Clinic Ecosystem includes enterprise CMS with approval workflows.

Next step

Find out which of the three you are

A short review of your current site and where enquiries are being lost. If none of the three fits, we will say so.

Not a clinic

We also build for businesses outside healthcare. See business website pricing.
